2009 Preliminary Budget Hearings For The City Of Chicago
I received a call from the Office of Budget and Management for the City of Chicago today at 10:46am. I was invited to the public hearings for the 2009 Preliminary Budget of the City of Chicago. I was glad to get the phone invitations, but I feel that it was kind of last minutesince the hearings are just 4 days away.
These are the hearings that if you have any problems or concerns with the City, you get a chance to stand up in front of the mayor and the heads of all the departments of the city and air your grievances.
The times and locations for the public hearings are listed below:
Air-conditioned facilities
Accessible to the mobility impaired.
Interpreters for the hearing impaired and Spanish speaking.

Speakers must register in person.
Due to time constraints, individual testimony will be limited to three minutes.
